The basic working principle of the carding unit and the solution to blockage in the cotton box pipeline
1. The cotton conveying fan generates a constant conveying air volume and sends the raw materials into the upper cotton box of each cotton box. Under the premise of good pipeline sealing: the more raw materials in the pipeline, the higher the air pressure in the pipeline;
The fewer raw materials in the pipeline, the lower the wind pressure in the pipeline.
The cotton conveying fan connected to the 106 cotton opener automatically adjusts the cotton supply to the 106 cotton roller based on the pressure level (amount of cotton) in the pipeline, maintaining the basic cotton storage capacity of the cotton box.
During normal driving, the raw materials in the feeding boxes of the first and last carding machines of the cleaning and carding unit need to be filled with missing corners, and the middle few machines need to be filled. (The air leakage mesh at the back of the cotton box on the first and last vehicles should not be blocked)
2. The principle of cotton supply from the lower cotton box is basically the same as that from the pipeline, and it also uses air pressure. The fan generates a constant airflow and blows it into the lower cotton box. Under the premise of good sealing of the vibrating cotton box, the more cotton in the lower cotton box, the higher the detected air pressure in the lower cotton box; The less cotton in the lower cotton box, the lower the detected air pressure in the lower cotton box
The cotton feeding motor of the cotton box automatically adjusts the cotton feeding amount of the cotton roller based on the detected air pressure (amount of cotton) of the vibrating cotton box, in order to maintain the basic stability of the cotton storage in the vibrating cotton box.
3. The adjustment of the cotton box is based solely on the rate of change in cotton layer thickness. The standard cotton layer thickness is 45%, and in actual adjustment, it should be adjusted to around 45% as much as possible. The optimal range for self leveling is 30% -60%. Beyond this range, automatic adjustment will not be possible. Method for adjusting the thickness of the cotton layer: If the front glass window of the lower cotton box is pulled out, the volume of the lower cotton box will increase and the cotton layer will become thicker;
If the front glass window of the lower cotton box is pushed forward, the volume of the lower cotton box will decrease and the cotton layer will become thinner;
If the air inlet of the cotton box fan is increased, the air intake in the lower cotton box will increase, the cotton layer will be blown tightly, and the cotton layer will become thicker;
If the air inlet of the cotton box fan is reduced, the air intake in the lower cotton box will decrease, the cotton layer will be blown loose, and the cotton layer will become thinner;
Under the premise that the above two conditions remain unchanged: the higher the set pressure of the cotton box, the thicker the cotton layer;
The lower the set pressure of the cotton box, the thinner the cotton layer
4. The basic principle of the carding machine feeding the cotton rollers with self leveling control is based on the thickness of the cotton layer detected by the left and right displacement sensors,
To adjust the feeding roller speed of the carding machine in real time; If the detected cotton layer becomes thicker, the system automatically controls the feeding of cotton to slow down;
If the detected cotton layer becomes thinner, the system automatically controls the feeding of cotton to become faster.
Ultimately, the amount of cotton fed into the carding machine is kept constant, resulting in a uniform weight of the output cotton slivers.
5. Key points that must be noted:
a. The spring pressure inside the left and right barrels of the cotton feeding roller is about 100Kg, and the spacing between the cotton feeding roller and the cotton feeding plate is about 5 threads, which is equal
b. The initial value before calibration of the left and right displacement sensors on the carding roller must be between 0.365 and 0.44, and after calibration, it is 0.825mm without a cotton layer
c. The upper blowing port inside the vibrating cotton box is not blocked, the cotton drop is normal and uniform, there are no hanging flowers inside the box, and the four elliptical transparent covers are closed well.
d. When the change rate of cotton layer thickness is around 45%, the set air pressure of the cotton box must be between the upper and lower limit values of the adjusted pressure:
